Prince William, the older of King Charles III's two sons, was born on
21 June 1982. As a result of his father's accession to the throne
on 8 September 2022, he is now Prince of Wales and first in line
to the throne. William's three children – George, Charlotte, and
Louis – are respectively 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in line.
