 White Butte – marked “A” on this map – is near the south-west corner of North Dakota. To get there, John and I initially headed north-west from Minneapolis (which is on the right-hand edge of the map) to Fargo (the largest city in North Dakota), and then drove due west to Bismarck and Dickinson. |
