Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, 1985 |
 … and these are the flowers I was photographing. The plant life on Mt Kilimanjaro’s heathlands – which exist at roughly 3,000-3,500 metres / 9,800-11,800 feet above sea-level – is prolific. It’s varied and fascinating. As a result, I spent a lot of time on the second day of our climb photographing some of Mt Kilimanjaro’s flora. |
