 My mother’s parents – Marion and Walter Wynn – lived in Ramsgate, Kent, and because they were only 20 miles / 32 kilometres from the cross-channel ferry terminal in Dover, I was able to see them on several occasions. My maternal grandmother wasn’t well when I was in England in 1963, so this too is not a picture that I took of them. It’s a photograph that was taken by my father in 1955. |
