On 29 August 2011, Eric Hodge and I climbed Mt Bartle Frere, the highest mountain in Queensland. It was the fifth of the Australian state and territory highpoints Eric and I have climbed together, and the hardest to date: heat, humidity and leeches did not make it easy. |
